Brandon` Posted February 13, 2010 Share Posted February 13, 2010 Well yea I got a while till my trip but i've booked Cancun from April 1st-April 8th leaving from Michigan, Can I bring a hookah? Coals? Sisha? I'm planning on bringing maybe my QT and then i'm thinking about buying a Mozza since it comes in a convient can. If it's allowed, Where should I put it? My carry on or in my luggage? I heard that if coals are in your carry on the take them? Not sure I have a while till I go but i'm just curious ahead of time. Planning on brining about 6 rolls of 3K instants since I wont have a stove and maybe a kilo of shisha, Some washed stuff because Alcohol + Buzz = Puke for me so i'm good on any Nakhla , What do you guys think tho? Anyway, you need to call the airline you'll be flying with and ask about it and Mexico's laws about it. Every country is different about it. This is the best advice you can get from anyone on here, because it's going directly to the source. This will be your most credible way of finding out so that way you don't end up losing a hookah or coals or shisha at the airport by confiscation. no longer welcome Posted February 14, 2010 Share Posted February 14, 2010 don't bother asking, there is nothing wrong with a hookah, keep a qt in your carry on, tsa will know what it is, i speak from personal experience. take more than enough ql's as you will go through them, you aren't supposed to bring lighters but you can buy a lighter when in cancun, torch preferably. make sure to take enough foil and shisha, maybe an extra bowl in case one breaks. hopefully you have a room with a balcony.
