so my best friend calls me up yesterday for dinner, I say yeah man, I'll grab some beers on the way.
I pull up to his house around 9:30 and he's just finishing up, we have a beer and he pulls this plate out of the oven, it looks like teriaki chicken on a stick, one of my favorites, he's got pork fried rice and crab rangoons. we're munchin down and drinkin our Kirin Ichibans, havin a good night. I tell him "Hey man, that was some damn good food thanks" Were playing call of duty on his x-box and he gets up, packs a hookah and sets it down. We're smoking and about ten minutes into it he tells me we just ate his cat dexter, I thought he was fuckin around and I tell him I thought it was extra tender. I realized after I left I never saw his cat. it was tasty.

I didn't find it to be too oily, what I did notice was that it was a little on the dry side but still tender , it was sorta odd, but delicious. It seemed to be made out of small chunks of meat hesl together by meat strings, perfect! I could eat and floss at the same time.

Dude omg I fucking hate cats but you just gave me the best idea ever!

If cats are as tasty as you say I'm totally going to the humane society tomorrow and getting two. I mean come on, they're fucking free! Can't beat free food.

In California it's covered under 597 PC. I'm hoping this is going to turn out to be a massive joke, becuase while I'll admit intellectually that animals we consider as pets are meat not all that different from cows, or pigs or rabbits, (just as we humas are), that the life of a pet is a sacred and helpless trust placed in us as their owner and that it wouldn't be betrayed. And if it should be, jail time is definitely in order. At the very least.

Sigh...... Penal Code and you know you knew that. Bad place to joke for those of us who love our pets.
