Just received my 2L Erlenmeyer flask. 1.96" opening, a.k.a. "narrow mouth" (#10 stopper)

These come in 1L, 2L, 3L, and 5L sizes. 3L uses a #13 stopper.

Here's a couple perspective pics:

No creativity here, it's all been done before. Thanks tho.

I want to talk santino into making me a Pyrex purge and hose adapter as I've decided to keep the lab-look.

where did you order your flask from?

http://www.novatech-usa.com/

I went with novatech because they had the stopper for $2.85 and everywhere else w/ 2L flasks wants $11 for a stopper.

I scoured the net before I settled for novatech. They did pretty well too, had the delivery to my door in 4 days.

why didn't you go with the filtering flask and do a diy hose

Already went into that above.

Vacuum port drawbacks:
Lose 2" of height due to the exit port below the rim.
Typically twice as a expensive
More fragile
Less size options

If you look at any hookah the hose port where it taps into the vase is pretty small. Even on a KM they only get like 1/4" big.

Yea, I'm waiting for my hookahjohn order to come in so I can do some traces to get the best orientation.
