Thicker, Better Tasting Smoke From An Egyptian Bowl

Thanks I'm going to be trying this right now! Gonna try the two ring one as well. Nothing better to do snow comin' down like crazy here in Oklahoma. So it should be a peaceful smoke.

Just got it going so far it's workin' really well doing the 1 ring in the middle right now, haven't really been getting good plumes with my egyptian bowl (small) and my shisha but it's decent now, and it does have a lot better flavor. Workin' for me! THanks for the tip!

I'm also using a little bit of pomegranate juice in my base with my pomegranate shisha. yum.

Do you put the coal on the same way you would normally? or would you just keep the coal in the middle??

I will have to try this. Seems like it also may help keep the coal from pushing the foil down on the shisha. Brilliant.

Trying this idea right now in a standard KM Egyptian bowl. Working wonderfully. Usually I only get about 45 minutes of good flavor out of this bowl, but now I'm pushing 1:45 with low heat and it's still going strong.

I will say that I did this with my egyptian and really it smoked just like always, not sure if its cause I go pretty hot on nakhla anyways and it doesnt make as much of a difference at really high temps or not, but I will try with AF when I buy some

I'd try it, but I'm just so much in love with my phunnel bowls.
