starbuzz vs al fakher

Recommended Posts

Wicked, atm I'm waiting for a bit of ma'sell to arrive. 100g of Romman, 1250g of Al Fakher, 250g of Golden Al Fakher and 750g of Starbuzz. Can't wait to try it all! Damn shipping from USA to UK takes ages, the waiting game is tough but I'll live thru it.

I prefer Starbuzz's cut more than Al Fahker. Al Fahker is nice and wet,
but too wet at times. You know what I'm talking about, that puddle of
goopy juice at the bottom of the tub? But Starbuzz has a nice cut. Its
not too finely chopped up like Al Amir's fine puree esk cut, but is not
as thick/leafy as Al Wahas either. Its just right.

I've only tried one flavor of Starbuzz which was watermelon that Mush
so graciously sent me a sample of, and I really enjoyed it. Like
mentioned in the past, its very noob-friendly in that you can put quite
a bit of heat up on the bowl and not worry about burning it, like some
other brands tend to do when you put a bit too much heat.

It produced a TON of smoke as well, along with solid flavlor.

Now Fahker gives a ton of smoke as well, but flavor varies between what
flavor you buy. Some of the flavors I'm not fond of, but then there are
a lot that I love as well. I guess I need to smoke more Starbuzz
flavors before I can really start to compare the two. Because I like
both brands, but I've tried lots of AF flavors and only one Starbuzz.

Oh well.

Seems like Starbuzz really is the type of ma'sell you only bring out on special occasions or treat yourself to very occasionally, ah well, can't wait to try it (*wonders if socialsmoke UPS 1-2 days worldwide will actually take just two days*).

After all I've heard lately, I'm REAAAALLY anxious to get my hands on
some Starbuzz. Out of all the brands I've tried (Nakhla, Al-Waha,
Prince, Sultan, Splash, Al-Amir, Habibi, Romman, HookaH HookaH,
Al-Fakher, and probably a few others as well) I gotta say my real
favorite brand is Al-Fakher.

I love the thickness of the smoke, the sweetness/strength/quality
of the flavor, the fact that it's really difficult to burn, the super
soaked and nicely fine cut (all that molasses makes it last at least 2
years in storage so it never really dries out), and pretty much
everything about it.

The downside of Al-Fakher? They don't offer a whole bunch of
really wild and interesting flavors like Starbuzz does. The fact that
I've heard nothing but good things about Starbuzz and that they make
some really unique or rare ( or even rarely well done) flavors like
Blueberry, Blackberry, Raspberry, Peach, Watermelon, Kiwi, Pomegranete,
White/Black Grape, Sour Apple, Bubble Gum, Spearmint, Vanilla, Caramel,
and many others makes me really want to spend rediculous ammounts of
money trying them all LOL

But like everyone else here, I'm not made of money so I'll have
to try a few at a time. In a few weeks I'll have the cash to order some
and when I do I'll be sure to let you guys know how they compare to
Al-Fakher in my oppinion! Mind you I am pretty jaded about these things
(Al-Fakher's Apple, Strawberry, Grape, Orange, Esk. Apple, and Cola are
pretty much all I smoke these days) but if Starbuzz can convice me that
they are better then or on par with Al-Fakher then I think it's safe to
say that Starbuzz is well worth trying

yeah
I agree that Fahker doesn't have that many exotic flavors, but I'm sure
as the hookah culture spreads more in the states and becomes even more
popular, they will start to make some changes and spice things up. I
mean nahkla and al waha did it, its just a matter of time.

Im not a huge fan of nahkla, but I really do like their new chocomint.
Their new margeritta is too strong for me, but they got a winner with
the chocomint, so I'm sure Fahker will follow and get some exotic stuff
eventually. And when they do, we should all be in for a treat :)
