Where do you go to get shisha? I'm kinda new at buying the stuff, I used to just smoke at my friends or they would bring it over, but now I'm hooked. Just curious where people go. I'm in Tempe, but whereever in Phx metro is cool.

The only place i've gone in the PHX area was to Cafe Istanbul in Tempe on Apache between Rural and McClintock. They have a lot of hookah, had a lot of KM's last time I was there as well as a lot of AF, starbuzz and layalina. While there I purchased my KM green pear some AF and a 100g SB spearmint.

I second Jeff T on Cafe Istanbul. Definitely a great, great place to pick up the goods. Also try out Haji Baba (Tempe). They carry mostly Nakhla. There's A&A Smoke (tempe), who carries every single flavor of Fusion tobacco. Tobacco + (Tempe) has an assortment of Al Fakher, Al Amir, and Al Waha. Smoke N Go (Phx) carries Fumari. Nana's (North Phx) carries Hookah Hookah, Zona, Pharoah's, and Fantasia, Open Sesame (Phx) carries a variety of Fakher and Layalina, Summer Market (Phx) carries Layalina and Nakhla, Baiz Market (Phx) carries Al Fakher, Layalina, and Nakhla (Double Apple in Tins and Jars. A Kilo is 22.95). The Station (Phx) carries Layalina and Al Masah.

You could also check out almost any smoke shop/tobacco shop. They are all over the place and almost every one carries shisha.

Happy Hunting!!!

Unless a store picked up Tangiers recently, I don't think there are any shops in Phx that carry it. I know there are stores in AZ but outside of Phx that carry it. I WISH Tangiers was sold locally here.

Dang moodz, you know your stuff. I think Cafe Instanbul is where I bought my first hookah. Wasn't a KM though, cheap Chinese one that I think I got over charged for. I remember seeing a lot of SB and AF. Probably do most of my ordering online now, but it's good to know just in case. Never know when you might get that craving for that one flavor you don't have.

Thanks guys.

Getting overcharged for a hookah is always irritating. I know the store owners can be bargained with there. You should go back there sometime. They cleared out the grocery section and it's nothing but hookahs now. They still have their restaurant too. Were you looking for a specific kind of hookah tobacco?

I've been smoking hookah for 7 years now and have done extensive research on local stores that carry the stuff. I do have to say it's comforting knowing that there are so many different stores to choose from.

No, I wasn't looking for anything specific, just curious the experienced go. When I went there the grocery was gone. I didn't find this site til after though, so I didn't realize what I was getting. Now I have been on here and learned a ton. Hence why I just ordered a Mya from MNH and my next will be a KM.

It'll happen to you, too.

(10:06PM) Del_Sol- Eric, let me know if you don't like this and I will remove it.

Haven't had a chance to examine everything closely but when I pulled on out, while I'm laying in bed, I had juice on my hand so I'm gonna wait till the pops is asleep and then examine all my goodies closely.

You guys covered most of the main locals for smoke, but you did forget one. The H-B Place on Mill and Broadway in Tempe. The owner of Tobacco + owns it. He'll often have stuff in there that he doesn't carry in his regular shop. I talked to him this past weekend and he will be moving The H-B Place to Apache and McClintock on Feb. 1st, "09. It is the best place to sit, smoke and check out college girls...:-D

Tobacco + in Tempe carries them. Call first though because the store hours change since he runs HB Place.

I have a Tangiers phunnel. I am relatively new to the phunnel thing, so I am not sure what size it is. It doesn't seem rediculously massive to me, but like I said, I'm new to phunnels. After doing some research online I found that a guy in Tucson named Smiley has made his own style of glass screen. Maybe I'll try and get ahold of him and see what he's got.
