Check it out dude, good stuff and the group is actually led by Sacha Baron Cohen's (Borat for us stupid americans) brother . Also Karsh Kale is great - Indian electronic and drum n bass influenced percussion heavy music. srawas89 Posted August 5, 2008 Share Posted August 5, 2008 I say google famous arabic Singers, Here are some good ones, for classic go with Om Kalthoum (although some songs are an hour long haha), for more modern and pop like go with Haifa Wehbe, Nawal Zoughby, Nancy Ajram, Moustafa Amar, Omr Diab, Miriam Fares, Fares karam. I really like some DJ Shadow, G-Love, Ozomatli, Incubus, Roni Size, Galactic, Antipop Consortium, Beck, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Van Morrison, Mathew Shipp, and Otis Redding for sessions. Ah hell pretty much anything that's got groove, soul, or funk and isn't too loud and agressive.
