Any Artists Out There?

so this is how it is, i start school again in the fall and i have to make a more progressive portfolio(more variety)
and i have a terrible headache that i've had for about the last 2 weeks(no lie)
anyways if any of you are art inclined what so ever or even like art in general, i ask you to toss me ideas, any idea really.
i am very creative, 99% of the time and have never asked for any ideas outside of what is in my head...but i really need help today i have about 15-20 pieces to make in about 2 months =(

i as an artist have a darker more like im on acid approach to my art, and it tends to be very in your face.
anyways since i have started with i guess you can it a massive migraine i can hardly think let alone be creative, i guess too many spray paint fumes from all the tagging i have been doing lately =/

so if you read this even though you may not have a suggestion at all just say anything out of your love, or hate for art.

thank you an i apologize for bothering you with my problems, i just feel so useless today.

I'll assume that you're a painter, no? Try working with different materials for a day or two and see where that takes you, if you like it or not, ect. Take a step back, look at the small picture for a day and not the big picture. It'll help bring ya' down. Trust me, I've been there before.

okay i will, right now i tend to be partial to acrylic paints, for some reason i hate oil based paints. but i do some of my best work with watercolor or a pencil.
i know i tend to procrastinate, then panic last minute my mom told me i need to be put on xanax and valium lolzz

Try writing down/sketching your dreams right when you wake up and try painting one of those. I don't know if you have vivid dreams and stuff, I know some of mine would make really funky paintings... laugh.gif

Most of my creative ideas come around 3am... Given that my biological clock is somewhat screwed up at this point, a more correct estimate would be the time after I really wanted to sleep, but then held on and went into 'overdrive' mode and a couple of hours before I *really* want to sleep. Deep spiritual disturbance also helped. Think of something really important to you, something that may seem you cannot change. And then try to express it with the art form closest to you. That's how I deal with my inspiration.

Just my two cents...

Paint the American Eagle...but sick looking... make it look really nasty. Say it reflects the state of America right now due to the government, economy, war etc. In the backgroud put the american flag but instead of waving have it like...half mast and as if there was no wind...just sorta hanging there
