Al Fakher Hookahs

Recommended Posts

your right, the hookah is an absolute BEAUTY. it also smokes amazing as well. i have the large 1 with the small base, looks gorgeous, smokes amazing. people were just a little angry at a few QC flaws, ie, a few bubbles in the base, a few visible weld marks of the hose port. but its beautiful and smokes great too

My AF hookah was amazing. Its retired now but it was one hell of a pipe.

You will not find a perfect hookah. Even my KM has many flaws.

i beg to differ...factory made chinese pieces are pretty much perfect.

but yeah, absolutely beautiful pipes, and from what i've seen and read they smoke incredibly as well. definitely wouldn't mind adding one to my collection.

apparently the stem is really short and the vase has to have high levels of water. (this is for the large one). someone recommended getting a small vase with the large one.

at that price i'd pass on them, but thats just me

I hate you guys, now I pretty much have to have one for my collection, it's just so beautiful...

I dont mind the short stem, putting more watter in the base is really the least of my worries on a pipe

Now my only questions is... can I buy it cheaper elsewhere? caue that thing runs more than my KM

it really is a beauty, not my personal style. little too gaudy. i wouldn't buy it.

but it deffinetly is pretty, and if it smokes like a champ too? form and function...can't go wrong

it doesnt seem like he was saying it in a completely negative way - visible weld marks, mabye a pock mark here or there?

if your a stickler for quality control, id call AFOline and make sure they send you a perfect one... if you dont mind a rough weld where the hose port meets the stem, then its still a great hookah and smokes like a beast.

Perhaps.

Thats a very minor thing for me. Weld marks and things of that sort don’t influence me buying a great hookah..because if it did, I probably would have no hookahs.

you may not think the water being high is a problem however someone said the hose kept getting water due to that water level.

in terms of the hookahs, they look ok, but i dont like the Al fakher decal on it, nor do i like the second tray. just looks weird to me. I passed on it when they were really cheap when the website opened, doubt ill ever consider it

Never had water in my hose.

2nd tray, very VERY useful.

KM flaws - weld marks, some parts of the hookah is missing the silver/chrome/nickel (watever it is) plating, top of stem is not welded completely so when i wash the hookah, some water gets in and i have to let it drip out, i can keep going.....

But like i said, i dont mind these flaws. He said the AF hookah has flaws and im just letting him know that the KM hookahs everyone dreams about also has flaws. Both are excellent pipes, flaw or no flaw.

I've had mine for a year and it has been great. I have the small (26") one.

The stem is a little short, but the pencap diffuser I made adds a nice inch and a half.

Many flaws? Like what?

huh.gif

I can't speak for his, but mine has:

-Weld marks
-Numerous visible flaws in the glass
-A small crack at the very top of the stem that is already leading to internal rust via trapped fluids. I have to store the stem upside down to get most of them out, but the inside has never been completely liquid free since the first time I cleaned it.

The pull is amazing, but the overall craftsmanship seems kind of generic. The only part that actually bothers me is crack at the tip of the stem that is trapping fluids in between the internal and external portions, because that will eventually lead to the death of the hookah. Edited by Ralleac
