That's a Chinese Nawras knockoff. There is a company in Yiwu, China that makes all kinds of fake Syrians and it seems that seller tries to pass them off as real. Buying a "real" Syrian hookah from Israel should be a red flag since the countries don't have the best trading relations considering they are officially still at war for the past 4 decades but in a ceasefire.

Looks like an Elmas. Not sure how much this model is worth. Also, the hose port seems to be poorly soldered.

Seems a little off to me...

1. Ripoff. 2. What are "regular coals"? 3. What coals is this dude using that last 15-20 minutes? http://nashville.craigslist.org/for/2921190995.html

Anyone want a former coffee shop turned hookah lounge? http://nashville.craigslist.org/bfs/2897947212.html

Those coals are pretty solid. I just finished a box of 108. Cheap as hell on 5star. Like 8-9 bucks?

But yea, wow.... haha

I wouldn't say the Obelisk Price is obscene. I sold my second one that was blue (different base design) for around that i think.

if it was 150 I would get it, love that base design.

Jamras... a lot of people hate on them, they aren't terrible for the price... they are on par with AF coals to me, they just smell though!!!

Don't complain you guys... to date... the only hookah ever to grace CL in my part of texas is the one I tried listing.

ive actually been loving jamras, still like coconaras but for half the price. when i first got my hookah i had chronic nats first nats i ever used so i re-bought them recently and they work fine , but i find they give off the absolute worst smell in comparison to jamras and naras.. sometimes i light the coals in my room chronics smell lingers for like 3 days...

Yeah, I have yet to try Jamras. Some people like them, some people hate them. Main thing I wanted to point out was what the dude was asking for them. $10 should be for twice that many coals, I think. Also how he mentioned they were "better than regular coals and lasted longer than 15-20 minutes." Just found it funny. :)

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks CH coals smell bad while lighting... Then again I haven't tried the latest batch.

Good to know. So far Razans and Coconaras have been treating me fine, so I'll probably just stick to them. Unless Cocobricos ever become available here! :D

Check out the second pic. Lol.

If this thing was twice as tall as it is, It would be a nice hose hanger.

The hilarious thing is that this is a very old style lamp, of the sort that is seen in many famous paintings:

(link to famous "vanitas" style painting by Harnett in the National Gallery should go here but can't)

and she could ask a lot more for it as a working lamp than as a messed-up hookah.

Ah, well.

The hose certainly looks like a typical Chinese one. Stem's a bit of an oddball, though. At any rate $100 seems beyond insane, unless I'm missing something pretty big. Edited by Christopher Mason Taylor

Also, lots of NHT terms on his tags. That thing is probably infested with drugs.

:D http://www.ebay.com/itm/ANTIQUE-WHALE-OIL-LAMP-LANTERN-4-BURNERS-/261003412653?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cc50404ad

"ANTIQUE WHALE OIL LAMP LANTERN-4 BURNERS"

Of course, it is absolute bull that it is "well over 100 years old." But at least it is an oil lamp. Don't think it ever burned whale oil, it was made in the 70s at the latest (IMO).

No bids yet. Hmmm...
