Essential Oils

Recommended Posts

We put peppermint oil in the shisha all the time. Just one drop in an entire bowl, and mix it up. It is really intense mint for the first 3 or 4 hits, but after that it just ads a subtle mint flavor for the rest of the session.

Is it healthy to smoke these oils? For some reason I feel it may not be.

when i called and ordered the butterscotch oil from the link i posted they guy said it would be ok to smoke them and its not the first time he has been asked

The bottles of oils I have state "do not ingest" on them which made me a bit hesitent to smoke them.

Vanilla extract ruined a batch of shisha for me.... I guess it washed most of the juices away.

A drop or two might not hurt.... I doubt it'll do much in the way of flavor, though.

Back when I first started out, I had what seemed like a bad batch of Al Waha vanilla and tried to give it a cinnamon flavor by using vanilla extract and soaking it in cinnamon sticks.

Anyone tried mixing them up? Was the result any good? If so, what particular brand did you guys use? I only trust products from Healing Solutions and nothing else. I haven't tried smoking essential oils before, that's why I want to know if it's safe and has no side effects. I only use essential oils the conventional way so I'm kind of curious on what they do when smoked.

i dont think its safe. your gonna be smokin some crazy shit you might get a lil loopy. eh try it!

the oils are pure extract from plants...i dont think it will be harmful...then again i have yet to try it so ill get back to you

unless i die

Extracts from plants can kill you depending on the plant. The comments saying this might screw up your hookah may be spot on. I wouldn't try it. If I were to try it, I'd be heavily researching which extracts I planned on using and what is their reaction to burning and inhaling. This is way different from aroma therapy.
