Bushbr Posted March 10, 2008 Share Posted March 10, 2008 the recent thread about a guy's friends wanting to use his hookah for NHT made me thinki thought about this and i wondered how dangerous it could be to buy a used hookah, say off EBAY.there are alot of dumb asses out there who use hookahs for NHTwhat if sum1 were to buy a used hookah online, and the owner swears they never used it for NHT, who would say they did on the net?the person buys it, smokes it on his porch or w.e and a cop walks by. the new owner kinda laughs and says "no no sir, its shisha" then of course explains the whole ordeal we all go throughCop insists that he checks it for NHT. the owner isn't worried, he is a good Hookah ownerBUTthe previous owner did use it for NHT, and it shows up on the test, and the dude gets busted...is there any way we can prevent this from happening?besides not buying used hookahs Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

r1v3th3ad Posted March 10, 2008 Share Posted March 10, 2008 +1 oolatecthey'll inconvenience you by sending it off, and if it comes back positive, you have to pay lab fees, witness fees, and court fees...among other things.just get something made to clean that out, they sell all kinds of stuff. but in reality, they can just do a field test on the bowl and shisha...comes back negative then they cant ship your hookah off. Its LOWEST priority on the polices things to do. Literally, Jaywalking is higher than busting someone for some NHT.No cop would ever want to do the paperwork to have that sent off, tested, results gotten, bring you to court for a whopping $100 ticket.I know people who have been caught with small amounts of NHT and the cop throws it in the sewer and says you're lucky, its not worth the paperwork.I wouldn't want it just because the person had smoked NHT in it. Scoop Posted March 10, 2008 Share Posted March 10, 2008 if the price is good, id buy it. the 420 cleaners get resin out of everything. i use rubbing alcohol and epsom salt on my hookahs, it seems to get rid of everything. If your sitting there taking big hits off a hookah and your eyes aren't bloodshot and you can function normally I can't see cops harassing you or taking it to the lab. Plus just show them the tobacco.Also a lot of people that smoke NHT have told me they don't like doing it out of hookah because it gets "wasted". Maybe even check out the amendments to the constitution specifically amendment 4 "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probably cause, supported by Oath or affirmation and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the person or things to be seized."That about sums it up..
