Well, because of my coal incident, I was on the phone with an Al Fakher rep. and I took the advantage to find out what they were saying happened to the grape. Keep in mind this is what he said and not what I think. He told me that recently that had enhanced the flavor of their white grape. He said that in doing this they did not change the flavor, only made it stronger. He gave the usual "While I an an AF representitive I have to uphold that out tobacco products are the best in the industry yadda yadda" we get the picture. He insisted that when the stuff leaves its fine, and that the only way it could be comming out so altered is if somehitng were to happen during shipping (ring any bells?) . He also insisted that there had been two tubs sent back that he was aware of that went to their labs and the results said there was nothing wrong with them. I dont know if that helps any of you, but thats the stance AF is taking.

From what I understand from this post is that AF is going to keep making ketchup. This goes for white grape and grape.

O i see, what about golden grape?

I don't think this one is effected as I think it is now discontinued. Their whole "Golden" line is. Although, I could be wrong.

haven't had a problem with their exoticas, and as others have stated be careful with the grape.

Discontinuing the golden line? why is that? sucks...

I havn't smoked it, but I have heard amazing things from it, I'd replace grape with AF Vanilla. The cinammon from AF on the other hand is freaking amazing, and I heard AF cinammon + AF vanilla is delicious. The AF watermelon is a very flavorful smoke, also. Oh my god, its one of the most flavorful fruit shisha's I've had. It was amazing when I had it.

Have you checked with H-S what they declare on customs form? Because i think for Canada shipments they declare tobacco and customs will pick it up- check it with em first and if you already ordered than cancel! I ordered from UK they wont let me cancel my order. Try another vendor...

i would get cola, it's very sweet (if you're into that) and has a good smoke like all AF, and they are still making the Golden seal line, go check it out at alfakheronline.com

Canadian Orders - from the H-S site

"Duties/taxes are due to the Canadian Government and there is very little we can do to about them. Because of Canada’s strict duties we advise that you contact your local customs office to get the most recent and up to date information regarding duties. We ship our packages as commercial merchandise and it is your responsibility to pay for any duties/taxes associated with your purchase. Our advice is that you be prepared to pay the duties if necessary."

From a post in the review section

"I ordered this before I found out that H-S just changed their declaration policy... apparently they've become so big that Canadian customs are specifically looking for their packages, and so they no longer will declare tobacco as "molasses" or as "gift"."

Mail them they have good customer services - sometimes!
