Ignite Coal In A Microwave

Recommended Posts

I use a pyrex bowl to heat the real charcoal wood peices in the microwave for 3 minutes, until the coal is glowing white with heat, it keeps the flavour pure on the shisha, and is easy to do because the microwave is doing the hard work.

Any of you guys tried this method?

Isn't the principle behind microwaves based on accelerating the water particles in the food to generate heat? I don't know for sure, but I am pretty certain that my coals do not have any real moisture content....

microwaves + charcoal = peter griffin or homer simpson bad idea

why not just light it on a stove? takes like 2 minutes more

hehe yeah, the house would catch fire and peter would just get drunk at the golden clam.

yeah but the working theory behind that is to bombard the food with extremely high wavelength microwaves... which will actually heat things enough o ntheir own...

...so anyone ever try smoking a cotton ball? laugh.gif
i wonder if those guys are related

yes, but not in my microwave. was at a hotel.

we also put a gum wrapper that had the paper on the inside and the foil on the outside and that thing caught fire!
