Well,

I am sure i shall attract both the scorne and laughter of the entire Forum...

But I voted Nahkla. I still smoke it, I still love it. It's still a great smoke.

Layalina is also a brilliant smoke - but just does not have that touch that nahkla does.

I think it's my love of old-skool smoking!

I dont know what to tell you John. I personally have never tried SOEX but have gone through the SOEX review section and.....ya. Go ahead and take a look, since you're new, browse around a bit.

SOEX is all "herbal". You're either smoking tobacco which is meant for smoking or you're going to be smoking other herbal crap like grass or something. Smoke is smoke. You tell me which you rather smoke!

Yeah, this is certainly a question that has haunted everyone..It's all about personal preference. I have tried a lot of the main brands and I would have to say Layalina though. It's smooth, thick smoke, great flavor and consistant.

I DID in fact try a cool combo though!...I placed white grape Starbuzz layering the bottom of my bowl with a Raspberry Layalina topping it last night...and it was INSANE! I had major flavor with a cool buzz and no harsh taste with a lasting smoke!! Too Kool!

For my money, i cant do better than fumari, but its expensive and hard to find.
Tangiers and is definitely number 2
Layalina holds number 3
and Al Fakher is number 4.

Al Waha, Al Amir, Nakhla, and Fusion, all sit together in the lump of shisha that i call "good stuff".
They each have great flavors that i like better than some from the numbered ones.
But overall, they dont provide the satisfaction in buying that the others do.

I went with Layalina, but only becasue I really don't have a number 1 preffered shisha. I better vote would been more like: Layalina, Al Fakher, Nakhla then Al Waha.... almost a true mix, cause some flavors kick bum in 1 brand, some suck.

tongue.gif  have you tried tangiers?

Personally i think  its real hard ot just choose a flavor like that. Layalina has great flavor and great smoke, as does Al Fakher, but some flavors are bad.  Al Waha also has great flavor and smoke, but sometimes just doesnt pull through.  Tangiers kicks ass, but there is a major learning curve and a certain complexity to using Tangiers. all these factors have to be taken into account, and they all pretty much even out in the end, but I guess Tangiers takes it since nothing is actually wrong with it. my list would be

Tangiers
Layalina + Al Fakher (Tie for 2nd)
Al Waha

Yeap and although I loved them - they DON'T like me - after a mishap w/ KP, everytime I smoke Tangiers I get sick. So for now, I'm leaving them be - in 6 months or so, I'll probably try again. Ask me again 6 months from now and Taingers may be back on the "must die for" list. biggrin.gif

Am I the only one who had a "Benzeen" taste to their El Nakhla?
A friend bought me some cherry sisha and I have it in my carying case for about half a year now.
It's not that it tastes like inhaling tires, but just this feint aftertaste that I really don't like.

Wow, Tangiers is up there in the polls!!! Personally never had it (I love washed shisha). I voted for Al Fakher because Al Fakher is the best I've had. Love there Apricot!!!!

One of the primary flavors in cherry flavors is benzaldehyde. Nice taste buds, man. Thats a fixture of cheap cherry flavors.
