Royal Blue Mya Qt

I really enjoy this hookah. If you are looking for something very portable, sturdy, incredibly easy to clean, and cheap ,then this is for you. The thing that struck me the most is how quiet it is. It barely makes any noise when you inhale on it. I love the bowl size, perfect for a single smoke session with a couple of Coconaras or CH coals. The travel cage is excellent as well. Another plus is that the chrome on it is really shiny (if that's your thing), which makes for a pleasent looking hookah. For the price, it's definitely worth it especially for something that comes from China. On a 1-10 scale I give it a 9.5.

48" Mz Nefertit

Hello Everyone,

I figure its time to help spread the wealth and knowledge this community has brought me, so I am going to review my Pipes.

I purchased an MZ Nefertiti from Social Smoke lat last year, and have decided to give fellow members my opinions on it...

Appearance: This hookah looks beautiful, and there really is something special about a large classic hookah.

Smoke-ability: This hookah has an excellent draw, especially for its height. You really don't feel the vibration from the water on the draw. This is the only hookah I have smoked that does this. 10/10

Quality: This hookahs stem is very light... Lighter than my 32" trimetal. It does have raw weld marks, but it is overall great quality. The hose port is huge, so you might need a larger grommet. th second tray is very useful for putting your coal tongs or hose on.

Cleaning: This hookah is a pian in the ass to clean. expect to spend twice as long cleaning it as the stem is very large.

Hose:Standard garbage Mya hose. I always just use one of my homemades or a Razan.

Overall I would give this hookah a 9 out of 10. It's not as solid as my KM or Temsaah, but its smokes excellent and looks great.

22" Bumble Bee (Thamseh)

Yeah. I know this doesn't sound like a pipe I'd like, but for a small non-Chinese hookah this is top-of-the-line! Absolutely the best small Egyptian pipe I've seen, for a "fatota" type. The old tiny cheapo hookahs Hookah Company used to sell weren't this good. The hose should be replaced...its too small I think. The pictures on HC have it paired with a different hose, so I can't tell at this point. Its really good quality. I've sold a ton of them at my lounge and the people who buy them seem happy.

Its pretty good for the price. Its not as good as a bigger pipe, but it costs a third as much, too. If you're on a small budget, and are looking for an Egyptian to buy, give it a look.

New Thamseh Heavy Brass Hookahs

These are some of the new Thamseh hookahs from Hookah Company. These are much improved over the last imports...a lot of the problems that Thamseh had before seem to have been resolved. They vary from almost as good as KMs to slightly better than...

The quality of these Thamsehs are greatly improved. They are solid brass with brass cores...they are better than the older wheat shanks. The bore of the hose port is really large like the older KM tri-metals, the workmanship is really good overall. The whole shank is heavy and well constructed. There are a few minor blemishes, but the finish is at about as good as KM. No KM ever came out this heavy, thats for sure. My 15 year-old KM isn't that heavy.

32" Dahab Alaim Themsah
The bottoms, near the hub have the Thamseh wheat engravings on it and the engravings on the center "disco ball" are diverse and kinda cool. The hose port angle is a little flat for my tastes, but you guys will never notice it.

I like this hookah a lot in terms of its appearance. It resembles a brass version of the older KM "Football" or the newer KM "World Cup". Its become my official Kashmir Peach Pipe. I gave up my Al Nahwra 40" brass shank for this.

96/100

32" Thaqib Thamseh
I like the 1950s type of "dot" decorations on this shank. This is my second favorite of the 32" shanks. The heavy octagonal rings are quite distinctive. The design looks clean and sleek, Its very masculine and sexy.

97/100

33" Triple Wheat Thamseh
Hookah Company calls these 33"...I'm thinking they're fibbing...I think they're 32"... I like the wheat designs on them, the big octagonal knobs, the heavy feel. Maybe I'm tired of this design, but its kinda clunky after looking at the Thaqib. Its a great pipe and the heir apparent to the older, shorter wheat shanks. It smokes well, no doubt. I like the look of the other ones more.

93/100

32" Shakil
This is kinda like a more elegant, better formed version of the wheat shank. The knobs are smaller and flattened laterally. The engravings on it are wheat shank-like. I initially didn't like its profile too much, but I've warmed up to it. Its a great pipe, like the rest of these new brass Thamsehs.

94/100

36" Shakil (?)
The Shakil has a round knob and a flattened round knob on it, this is taller by several inches and has two spherical knobs on it. The engravings are wheat-type with the divots in them. Its quite nice. One one of these, I put it on tall 32* jar and its flows perfectly.

I immediately liked this shank and its form. I like its bulk and its height. Its not clunky or top heavy like most lighter hookahs get when they get above 36". They used to sell this type of two knob hookah a lot, but they have all disappeared. This one's a cavemen, a throwback to be sure.

I don't see it on Hookah Company's Website. I think they have some left...I'd call them up direct if you are interested.

Thamseh XL40"

New Thamseh hookahs from Hookah Forum!

There are seven shanks from Thamseh I have tried that Hookah Company carries:

This review is for the
40" XL Caramana

These pipes are much better than the last shipment of Thamsehs. I like them a lot. They are different and more old school than KMs stuff, which is of course great.

The 40" XL Caramana is an excellent pipe. It has a brass core, but is otherwise similar to a KM caramana. Its quite tall and well made. The metal is hollow, similar to the KM Caramana, but this sucker is tall! Like 8" taller than a comparable Caramana. I like it more than the KM Caramana.

I've sold several at the lounge and all the new owners love them. The workmanship is some of the best of the Thamsehs. Great for the price.
