I put them on the stove (2), waited about 4-5 mins, and it lit fine. It took a few puffs to start up, not a problem, but it had a real ashy taste I didn't enjoy. I'm guessing its the left over silver coating on the coals. Should I completely shave it off next time and make it so its completely lit red before putting it on. therefore i set out to try and make one that would look like a regular pipe albeit a bit bigger. I easily could have done this on solidworks and wowed you all with lifelike looks and dimensions that made sense but i dont wanna invest that kind of time in something i wont actually ever make, just thought it was a cool idea so anyway check my ideas out and if any of you wanna make any sweet MS paint hookah ideas we can use this thread for that.

I've never had Starbuzz before, so this will be a first. Out of all the flavours, are any one of these flavors worthy of stocking up on? If so, I'm thinking about getting 3 tubs of one particular flavour. From what I've seen in the reviews, I don't think I'll be getting Pink any time soon since I'm not a fan of the pink bubblicious gum flavor.

Maybe it's the powerful kick Tangiers has to offer. I have no idea what it could be. Even a couple of my buddies agree that the shisha is just too strong. The smoke that I get with it, isn't really harsh at all, but there is a sign that you are inhaling smoke. Although the smoke and taste are just grand, the kick to my brain is just too much to handle. As a reference, I smoked a small phunnel bowl of Romman Grape shisha with my girlfriend today, and both me and her enjoyed it quite a lot. Maybe it IS just my smoking method. I followed a couple of tutorials, and I really play around with the coals, but it's still kicking my ass. How could so many folk like it, and how could I not? Weird stuff, eh?

Any similar experiences or comments on the matter? I really feel like discussing this. I was determined to buy this from h-s over winter break, so that it would arrive and be there for me when I get back home from vacation. What I didn't think about, was the thing selling out at the beginning of the holiday season (whereas I was planning to buy it at the end, so that it would arrive just as I got back).

I found one site, in English, but based in Turkey, with nice Elmas pipes in the 60-80 buck range...then shipping to the US is $100! Even more ridiculously, I checked what shipping would be to Lebanon (because I have family there), and it was $120, and that can just be put on a truck!

While I had the straight clove going in my KM we packed a bowl of Clove/Fusion Mango mix in my buddies hookah with some raspberry sprinkled on top and I must say the mix was quite tasty. I can't wait to try a little AF lemon with mint/clove mix tomorrow night. Im not to sure how well it will smoke since I use 4 CH QL halves on a bowl of AF but ill keep you posted.

So while hookah shopping over the last month for a new hookah package I stumbled across a very beautiful hose, the only problem is that it was out of stock. I called John, who you guys know as the proprietor of Hookahjohn.com. I was hoping that he had one or two hiding somewhere or knew where to get another one. He said he thought he did, but after a couple days I got the dreaded e-mail, the warehouse was out of stock. This only fueled my fire (a side note: John just sold me his Masha'al jumbo gold and I can't wait to smoke out of it, Thanks John!) I did some research and contacted thehookahstore.com. There response was simple "we don't have that". Arrghhh! I was foiled again. Next I reached out to thehookah.com thinking since they sell wholesale as well as retail, perhaps they would have it. Narek sent a reply which said that they had it before but it was sold out....
