Kool-aid

QUOTE (Kathrynx @ Sep 30 2008, 09:22 AM) QUOTE (Apets22 @ Sep 29 2008, 03:14 PM) So my room mate last year was black, and he pulled out a gigantic like 10lb tub of grape (offbrand) kool aid. And I was like HOLY SHIT DUDE you must really like grape. And he then corrected me that it was not grape, it was purple drank, and that I should stop being such an ignorant cracker. Same thing happened to us before we left for Japan. At a party, and they were passing around a bottle of something, we drank some, it was alcoholic purple drank. We wanted to get more, but they never told us the real name of the crap.

  4. QUOTE (mattarios2 @ Sep 29 2008, 06:40 PM) If you got it used I would assume they changed it. All 3 of my km's I got had metal and I switched them to plastic T'was brand new.

Coming soon... didn't have my camera when we were smoking. I guess I'll just use my cell or something. As for the loose fitting grommet, I just wrapped it twice in electrical tape and now its all sealed up Ok good stuff. I have 2 sizes of grommets and that one is the smaller of the 2 the other one wouldn't even fit in the base. Nice. Did all the KM's come with plastic bb's intead of metal balls in the purge valve? Its AWESOME! way better than the metal bb's.

    Cooling Down The Smoke

QUOTE (QuiltedMaple @ Sep 29 2008, 02:54 PM) Add a little bit of salt to the water, then you can freeze it all you want without the base liquid solidifying. Could potentially be bad for the downstem though due to corrosion issues. -QM Not to mention it'd taste nasty What I do is fill up the hookah with ice water, stick it in the fridge for a while. Then you have ice surrounded by some cold ass water, and the ice takes longer to melt = colder water for longer amount of time! Don't ever put your base w/ water in it in the freezer.
  7. Buy one from SmokinMoose, check out my thread..... awesome seller, I'd buy another one from him in a heartbeat. http://www.hookahforum.com/?showtopic=25242

    Kool-aid

Just had some kool-aid for the first time in years. And it was nothing short of incredible. Nostalgia at its best. Discuss.

    Ice Bucket Hookahs

QUOTE (modisess @ Sep 28 2008, 11:52 PM) what are ice buckets actually? is it the holder where you put the trays on for some of the KMs? I thought they were just for the looks.. Yeah, you put ice into the bucket thing that the tray rests on.

    Flavor.

Maybe you're just getting used to it, and aren't as overwhelmed with flavor as you used to be. Another thing is, when you inhale to get massive clouds a lot of the time you bypass the whole 'taste' thing.. if you run the smoke over your tongue the flavor is definitely there. Try out some mint, that'll shock you with flavor, lol.

    Smokin Moose

Bought a tri-metal from him. Exactly as described, packed up REALLY REALLY REALLY well. Base has a small chip out of it but its probably from KM, not his fault. Would reccomend him in a heart beat.
  14. Hey all- So I got all the kinks worked out of my tri-metal, and its time for some pictures!! First thing you'll notice is the brass center piece is not the traditional tri-metal, it is from the Thalata stem if I recall correctly. On to the pics!
