1. Happy Birthday Canon!

hah, i wasn't going to miss the grand hookah forum happy birthday post this year! thanks for the birthday wishes
2. Namaste

I just went to this hookah bar tonight. ive been a few other times when i was very new to hookah. well i thought id write a review.. Its in Amarillo, Tx NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER go to this hookah bar if you want a good decent smoke. So all they serve is king mollasses with what i think is king quick lights. i got some pina colada. it didnt take long for it to come out. the hookah was some cheap mya knockoff with the worse pull ive ever had (i could have gotten a better pull off of a coffee straw) took me about 5 minutes to get it to start smoking (did i mention that they overfilled the vase and i got water in the hose which i couldnt get out because i didnt have the expertise of the workers) the flavor was sub par at the most. i wanted to put another coal on there to get it to start smoking so i asked for another one. the lady said "whats wrong with the one you have" well she brought out the other coal, lifted the wind cover (which i couldnt touch for obvious reasons) the bowl was overpacked and the foil was practically sitting there. she put the other coal there and we started to smoke again, it got a little better then it got too hot. so we asked our server to come over and take off the wind cover.. what im about to say deserves a new chapter. so she comes over and i ask the bitch nicely to take off the cover, she stares at us like "what now" i tell her we dont need it and ask her to take it off, she says she cant.. so i ask her to de ash our coals.... something very simple right? NO. the whore takes the windcover and pushes the ashes off of the coals into the bowl (did i mention the holes on the foil were ridicously big) then she puts the windcover on. (while the slut was de-ashing our coals into our shisha i was suggesting other ways, you know blowing on the coals with your hand behind them so the coals go in the tray. obviously her way was superior) so after she ruined our bowl by putting ashes in there, we stayed about 3 minutes after to smoke some nice burnt shisha with a hint of ash and left. 1-4 below average 5 average 6-10 above average Atmosphere 2 Service 4 (she did come everytime i asked) Knowledge 1 Quality 2 (the place looked pretty nice for the size) overall BELOW AVERAGE (really really crappy) 2.?
3. Ask A Stupid Question

Both Lemon or lime?

Happy birthday man
6. Latest Tangiers

Tangiers is lacking on the cream type of flavors. Welsh cream is another flavor I plan on keeping stock on (if it lives up to my expectations)
7. Just got this one and i would recommend it to anyone. http://www.hookahcompany.com/abanos_khalil_mamoon_hookah_5857_prd1.htm dont forget to get a windcover and phunnel bowl
8. Happy Birthday

Thanks. I'm 1 year away from being an old man (25). I had the best birthday ever.
9. New hookah came in from hookahcompany. http://www.hookahcompany.com/abanos_khalil_mamoon_hookah_5857_prd1.htm Its pretty much a trimetal type of hookah with wood instead of the copper center. The vase and the stem are well built (best ive seen in a while) and the downstem is a little short for me. The condition of the stem is great, i did have to clean some of the manufacturing "guck" out of the stem and the hose port; and the vase looks great, very few bubbles in the glass and the paint is the best ive seen on a KM vase. I'll do a review in a few months when i find out how durable everything is. as of now, this is my new go to hookah for smoking and is a fine replacement for a KM trimetal
10. Hidden Movie Gems

The Secretary - Rented it from netflix somehow, i think they sent it to us by mistake.. went ahead and watched it, thought it was amazing.

13. New Hookah

lol, base goes below the table. its actually a little bigger then your standard bell style bases. when i get my normal camera charged up ill take some closer pictures of everything. but the detail on the stem is good and the work done on the wood in the center is better then i expected.
14. Longest Session

12+ hours. first time i did that was when i was reviewing flavors with Rayver. it was all good until we loaded up a bowl of tonic and we all got some nasty headaches.
15. Syndey, Au

Video is fake, they just posted that so people would watch it and spread it through the internet. they were actually testing the gullibility of people who use the internet. 16. Joining The Army

50% of what makes you happy in the military is your job, then 20% goes to your squadron and 10% for your base. There are great jobs and there are not so great jobs. If I were you I would do a lot of research on jobs and pick one suited for you, then ask someone in the military (besides a recruiter) about that job to get a better understanding of what your getting into. Also with your college I would look into becoming an officer, the pay is better and they have jobs that reflect those on the enlisted side aswell as those that are officer only. If your close I would say do some college or enroll in a program to finish off your degree so you can become an officer.

We all sat down and watched, read through all the reports we had, and then had a discussion at great lengths. Honestly this is one of the more far fetched movies out there. It is easy to take stabs in the dark at the government when you only have a 1/4 of the story. If you ever get the chance to see behind the scenes how the gov works or talk to someone who does. You will get a bigger laugh out of the conspiracy movies. I have seen reports and footage of all of the events mentioned in numerous post. People now-a-days don't want to hear the truth. I mean honestly there isn't a country in the world that doesn't have two or three terrorist organizations operating within their borders. I know that I can't change peoples minds, because there is so much information that I just am unable to share. So I will leave this in parting, if you are able to believe that your fellow Americans would ever kill a fellow innocent American to start a war, then I fear the worst for our country because we will surely fall. Watch 10 ways to Kill Bin Laden. We didn't need a war to do it, chances were better before.
Allstar hit the nail on the head. I'm honestly surprised that this many people think that its the governments fault. But there will always be people who think that everything is a conspiracy (The holocaust and moon landing anyone?) 9/11 is a tragedy, and a big one at that. Any significant event will always have it's fair share of conspiracy theories.
Like I said before, I'm not ready to jump on the conspiracy bandwagon, but.................. I don't believe a government could ever get it together between all executive officers to pull something like this off without spilling information somewhere somehow along the line. They're just not that efficient. But where my wondering come into play, is that we have seen individual branches of the government do some pretty horrendous things without other branches being involved and then getting brought into it after the fact and being forced to become accomplices in the interest of not giving the general population a reason for uprising. So could our government have been behind it? Yes, a portion of it undoubtedly in my mind could have. Our government as a whole? Nah, just can't see that one. 'Rani
It's easy to point fingers at "the government" but one thing people fail to realize is the government is made up of American Citizens. Think about this, you're working for (pick favorite conspiracy branch in the government) and you hate the government or just want to kill a bunch of people for whatever reason. How hard would it be to find a group of people that share your views and want to do the same thing within your branch? Next, how hard is it going to be to pull off something like 9/11 while working in said branch without being caught? It's much more likely that people outside of our government. I'm in the Air Force and I have yet to meet someone that hates America and/or wants to kill a lot of people. How many people do you know in the US are actually happy about 9/11?

19. Is It Rust? Something Else?

Looks like something else. I'd get some steel wool, that should do the trick.
20. If its not metal then a flat tip screwdriver from the bottom of the grommet and be careful not to deform the grommet. or get some needle nose pliers and grab the grommet from the top and try to screw it off while pulling.
21. Its the heat management. use 1 QL (if your using QL's) or 2 coco coals and a windcover. when the smoke starts to get thin put a windcover on it to heat up the tobacco. I know thats the opposite of what you want to do but it works. if that doesnt work then move the coals to another part of the bowl and put the windcover on until the smoke is thick. Also try blowing into the bottom part of the bowl before you move the coals.
22. Smoke Only 1 Pipe

... I have 20-30 hookahs. maybe more.. In my defense I married my hookah smoking wife so her 10-15 got mixed in with my 10ish hookahs. I average 1 hookah buy per year now. The more hookahs I own the more picky i get when i buy a new one. All you really need is one hookah and for the past 2 years ive pretty much smoked out of my tri metal KM. (my 2nd hookah buy)
thats looks sick on the pick...i just hope it would come colored exactly that way its posted. not all sloppy ad patchy as if child labor was used to paint it
Yeah, the black looks painted on there and the vase looks a little unstable with the way its made. it looks like it goes from SS to brass with copper/chrome plating. but we will have to see when it comes in. im guessing 2 weeks because of the holidays. maybe a little longer.
