1. Where The Hell Is Our "leadership"

This is how I feel. Even if They did manage to put a stable government in place, American cooperations would influence the government totally and come in with huge policy changes and open up almost all profits to American businesses in the name of capitalism. The point is the unemployment would rise and so would poverty which would only throw fuel on the fire of he ongoing war. They've already done it with Chile and Iraq and it would be likely to happen in this situation I believe. But I could be wrong.
  2. ! DANGER ! DANGER ! DANGER !

hahahaha, i just read this and put on safety glasses while I was hitting the hookah and heard crackling.
  3. Ps3 Owners...

Anyone planning on playing killzone 3
  4. Government Funds

It's really the disagreements between the Senate and the House that are even entertaining the idea of a shutdown. The proposed shutdown is due to the fact that the two sides of congress can't come to an agreement for government budget cuts. Democrats complain the Houses 61 billion in budget cuts would ruin economic recovery but I think it's just the democrats trying to postpone a recession that is truly needed to get the economy back on it's feet. American's are living beyond there means and everyone is going to have to make some sacrifices in terms of their lifestyle and daily rituals if they want the economy to regain stability.
  5. Charlie Sheen

I'm really not that worried about Charlie Sheen at all. The only thing that pisses me off is the amount of time our media wastes covering this whole story when there are much more important things going on in the world.
  6. Help A Beginning Hookah User

You could also try making your own if you really want to ensure you get a good buzz.

The only problem is the source of the fuel is a plant that cannot be grown in the USA. The use of it however would produce zero emissions and it can be grown all over the globe.
I am officially offering to work in the production plant if they ever do get it off the ground. 'rani
There goes the production efficiency. 9. Looky What I Found!

Very interesting experiment. I wish there were a way to get this information widespread immediately, especially since I heard something about making hookah bars illegal in Oregon. Or at least that's what I thought I read on this forum somewhere.

I still would have to say beating your kids probably does more harm than good.
Let me add to "What's Wrong With These People?" http://news.yahoo.co...see_shariah_law Any day now we'll be back to burning witches, an American version of the Spanish Inquisition, and pogroms. I'm becoming truly disgusted with my own nation. 'Rani
It's almost like they're begging to be attacked
  15. What's Wrong With These People?

The Oil companies are without a doubt price fixing, and it's wrong on all levels considering how rich they already are. But they have to much influence on politics to be stopped, considering most of the big name politicians have their pockets filled with money from these oil companies. Another thing that doesn't make any sense is when something happens and the price of crude goes up, why does that mean that the price of gas immediately goes up over here. They should still continue selling their existing stock at the same price since it was already purchased before whatever incident cause the price to up. But at the moment, everyone needs gas and they have a monopoly on the market. It's not that they think we're all stupid, they just understand that the governments not going to do anything about it and that the publics too tired from working their endless 9-5 and too distracted with the latest xbox game, ipad, netflix etc. to really care about making changes in the world.
