"Thank God you are here to help me..." is definitely what I was thinking.
You completely missed the point, the problem with homosexuality in the military is not worrying about the sexual orientation who's coming to rescue some pathetically helpless civilian from an equally pathetic terrorist. It is one stemming from the unusual, and uncomfortable situation resulting from the close quarters of training. Who in the hell wants to go take a shower with some homosexuals over in the corner leering at them. From personal situation I can tell you, it results in some homosexuals getting punched in the face, me getting a ticket for fighting, and then getting tickets for lewd and lascivious behavior. Mine was dismissed, as an understandable fit of rage according to the judge. While were at it, since there is no difference between homosexuals and heterosexuals, why even have separated showers at all? Just exactly why is it that we just don't have one giant shower at the gymnasium, high school PE, the military. If it's supposed to be fine for days to take a shower with people they find attractive in a sexual way, just exactly what's wrong with forcing men and women all takes a shower in the same place at the same time? I really see no difference between forcing gays on heterosexuals in a communal situation and forcing men and women into the same situation. You can't agree with segregation by by sex, on one hand, then turn around and force integration for the same exact criteria. To do so is hypocritical to the point of being sheer lunacy. Is this what we want from the military? Well guess what is the change you got. Look at the problems it created in other countries. The wussificationof the modern military. so now that you have your gays in the military why don't you go join up, why don't you go bust your butt for four years, risk life and limb, be shot at, risk being blown apart, for the intensely wonderful some of $22,000 a year after four years.--Yep, that's what I thought--all talk and no join.
I do not agree that the military will become "Wussified" with the integration of gays. Because they're already in. And we're still fighting our wars. Although I highly doubt once this policy is implemented, that you will see gays frolicking around and throwing their status and relationships in your face and being completely open about it. Just think about it, when you're sitting around the shop talking with your coworkers, gossip comes out. And no one likes being talked about behind their back. So why would gays put themselves in that position? I guess I just see things differently lol

Gangsta rap. lol diverse music selection over here.
You should check out Groundation, Bill Laswell's Dreams of Freedom (Marley Dub), and Steel Pulse.
Thanks for the reccomendations! 10. Joining The Army

Spectrum, I'm currently in the military, the Air Force to be exact. The universal advice I'd like to share is that be prepared for constant change. I can never stress this enough with my friends who have shared their thoughts about joining. Make sure it's the right decision, make sure you are certain that you want to join the Military. Prepare yourself mentally and emotionally for the constant moving around (the world) and having to always make sacrifices that may not always be in your personal best interest. And most of all, make sure you are prepared to pretty much give your life to the military. I'm not just talking about dying in war; but being in the military...it's like being in a relationship that you can't just break off. You have to be able to stick it through. The military is an extremely selfish lover, and you have to be able to drop everything at the tip of a hat whenever it beckons. Now, I'm not trying to trash talk or dissuade you from joining, I'm just saying to make sure you feel it's right, because it's really not just for anyone. Also, do some research on each branch, and make sure you feel that the Army is the right one to give your love to (lol). When I was looking at joining, I looked at every branch.... Marines - No way in hell. I definitely do not have the mental mindset to be a Marine. Army - Not my cup of tea as well, I did not like the jobs that were available to me at the time of trying to enlist. Navy - I don't want to be stuck on a boat for a year and a half. Air Force - what ultimately lead to my final decision was the fact that they had the career field open that I wanted to get into, and I also looked at all the bases all over the world, and I liked the fact that there are so many to be able to go to, which also depends on your job. And my job can take me to any base on the planet. Also the PT test isn't as difficult. lol. I hope my words are able to help guide you in some way. This is all just pretty general military type stuff. If you would like some specifics, I would gladly try to help out as much as I can. I do have some friends in the Army I can always ask.
  11. Hello All! I am an American currently living in Germany. I love everything that is Hookah. I have been smoking for 4 years now. I've gone through 5 hookahs, 3 of which are no longer with me, and 2 still going good and strong. I joined these forums to attain more knowledge about hookah smoking. I hope to get the best smoke and biggest clouds with what I am about to learn. Below is a picture of my hookah
