  1. I like your philosophy;) QUOTE (Hobbs @ Jan 31 2009, 05:45 PM) I gave it a 5, because I'm Hobbs and your avatar is Hobbes. I kid, I kid... it was actually pretty entertaining.
  2. More than a year ago, at this very forum, an idea of a smoking rings tutorial video on youtube was formed, with the help of the member Furio. http://www.hookahforum.com/index.php?s=&am...st&p=157795 This video my friend and I made shows with more humor than details, how to create the perfect smoke ring - gaining much respect in the youtube field of hookah videos - it now holds 160,000 views and counting! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMqukRWNRf4 So.. I want to ask for the help of you, my fellow smokers, in pushing this video up the channels by rating it high and commenting (if you like)! Plus, we're working on the second video now, "Advanced smoke rings creation", shot at the russian smoke center (in space), and awaiting released in spring 2009. so.. if you have any suggestions/requests we'd be glad to hear 'em. keep your lungs black, and your eyes open for our next video!

yo yo furio! I've followed your advice and made a youtube video! The quality is poor, but the message, i think, is clear. Besides me and my friend had a lot of fun making it so it was worth it: How to create smoke rings I should have included the bloopers, it was really funny.. QUOTE (Furio @ Sep 14 2007, 05:10 PM) QUOTE (osowakki @ Sep 15 2007, 12:51 AM) Boom! you just keep coming what great ideas! That's Furio for you

Boom! you just keep coming what great ideas! I'll make one when I get home in a few days(I'm in the army right now), only hope people can understand what I'm saying with my herbrew accent. QUOTE (Furio @ Sep 14 2007, 04:39 PM) QUOTE (osowakki @ Sep 15 2007, 12:34 AM) Good idea! I might put one on that page on my website! got ay specific video to suggest? QUOTE (Furio @ Sep 13 2007, 09:45 PM) to be honest, the easiest way to learn is to watch videos on you tube and try and copy them. I have not found a video just for smoke ring teaching (not really looked), but I saw a few that just showed people doing it and compaired it to my way and saw if I was doing it correctly. You might want to make your own video which you could then post on youtube with a watermark to your site and a link in the description to get some free traffic from interested people

  8. How To Puff Smoke Rings

I agree, although windy ring puffing has its advantages! If your shooting it against the wind there's a slowing effect, sometimes the rings even reverse, it's pretty cool. The best thing, I think, when you master ring puffing, is being able to shoot a ring through an earlier ring without destroying any of them. QUOTE (OPR234 @ Sep 12 2007, 11:21 AM) I first learned to make O's this way, i'd say its the easiest way to control how hard you blow the smoke out. Once you get a feel for them, try other methods, you can blow them more quickly and more of them with the same amount of smoke. There are at least 4 or 5 methods that ive seen for making rings, I like the throat-clicking method myself. Although, its annoying when you smoke outside, and its barely breezy enough to mess up your smoke to where you can't blow rings. For those of you just learning to make rings, practice when there is ZERO wind outside, or inside in a place away from fans, air conditioners, air purifiers, or any misc drafts.
  9. How To Puff Smoke Rings

It's a bit hard to explain, but you need to feel a 'click' in your jaw in order to produce an original fat smoke ring.. don't give up! QUOTE (garykainz @ Sep 12 2007, 09:26 AM) interesting. I can't do rings very well, but i've never heard of this method. i'll have to try it!
  10. How To Puff Smoke Rings

QUOTE (Johnny_D @ Jan 10 2007, 07:57 AM) Hilarious I love it... reminds me of 'blue peter' from when i was a kid. I got my mum to doing the cutting out ! JD I'm sure blue peter never taught you how to make a hookah;) anyways i hope people find this useful and not only humoristic, it did save me from quite a few smokeless nights..
  12. Home Made Hookah

Hey there lung killers, I'd like to share my latest hookah friendly flash creation - the Home made hookah guide. There's no commercial interest here whatsoever, only a big hookah smoking brother sharing his hookah skills. I used to make a lot of those in the israely army where hookahs are forbidden du to cannabis abuse, so I had to improvise hookahs and throw it away after use just to avoide getting caught doing my thing;) hope you like it!
  13. Water Additives

Yea man! it gives you that nice sweet mellow buzz.......... love it! I once hooked up two hookahs together through the ventilation hole, so I had milk in one vase and vodka in the other one. I tell you man, that was some party! people were walking sideways all night long! QUOTE (camelflage @ Dec 29 2006, 08:31 AM) just throw some cinnamon in your eyes, same effect. Alcohol is not bad in the vase, and the vapors will actually do a little cleaning on your hose if you use a distilled white liquor (vodka, everclear, etc).
  14. hey everybody! I'm and Israely hookah smoker looking to expand his shisha horizons. I buy my Al-waha and Nakhla in 50gr packs, and I get it for 1$ each, but the thing is I want to try out other brands, those you don't find in Israel. So if anyone is up for a long distance shisha trade, I'll make it worth the trouble:) Gigdi

VODKA! QUOTE (camelflage @ Dec 28 2006, 09:37 PM) QUOTE (Zerodynamic @ Dec 27 2006, 06:41 PM) QUOTE (Ahookahfan @ Dec 27 2006, 03:20 PM) I'd like to start out by saying that I'm a long time reader, and first time poster. That said, has anyone experimented beyond ice, milk and juice and in base of a hookah? I'm talking about using spices, or salt, or the like? well, i am not sure as to what effect salt water would have to the smoke. I have played around with lemon/orange chunks, and I didn't taste much of difference.. a liquid flavoring is the best way to go, imho. You could take some really stong spices like ground cinnamon, and see how that goes. oh god. dont try cinnamon. last christmas at the bar we thought that would be a good idea with some vanilla capp. not a good idea. trust me. there is pain involved.
