1. I always used foil and it has worked out fine for me. What's heavy duty though? Do you have different thicknesses on foils in the US?

3. How Did You Get Your Username?

Hello! I'm Johnny Cash!
4. A Swedish Greeting To All!

Thanks INCUBUSRATM!
5. A Swedish Greeting To All!

They are made in Czech Republic, and you can buy them from their shop in Brno! Since I live in Sweden, it's only about a $150 ticket back and forth to CZ, so that's what I'm gonna do. It is cheaper than the shipping costs and extra cash any retailer will add on to it! There is a place in Sweden which retails the Meduse pipes though: www.vattenpipan.com However they are more expensive that way. Also, you can order any Meduse products from their site, although at the moment this has to be done via E-mail. They've been trying to setup an e-shop for a while now it seems.
Heya cash welcome to the forum. As you should know by now is great. And the people here are outstanding. Very helpful and very friendly.
Thx NitetimeReign! Indeed my experience has been only positive thus far : )
7.
For those, that say too little/much water makes it smoke bad....can you provide insight on how the water level can ultimately effect the vapor that is formed from the bowl? just thinking about it, the vapor seems to make very minimal contact with the water anyways...
As far as my experience goes: the less water, the thicker the smoke tends to be. There's less filtration that way I believe...
8. Hey everyone, I signed up yesterday and have made a few posts, but I thought I'd make an introduction thread today! I live in Sweden and I'm an avid Hookah fan since I was younger. In sweden we call the actual pipe Shisha though. From what I've understood you call the tobacco Shisha here. I stumbled upon this forum while doing a bit of research on the Czech Meduse pipes, one of which I am planning on buying a few months down the road! This forum has a very good presence on Google, so big ups to whoever did the SEO Looking forward to getting involved in the community!
9. Hi Everyone!

Welcome to these smoke filled lands!
10.
go for it man. let us know if it smokes well. and welcome to the forum.
Cheers man! If I end up buying one, it will be in around 4 months, and I'll probably film everything from the journey to Czech Republic, the visit to the store until I finally try to smoke the thing Sort of a full video review.
11.
We're not talking about the bowl. We're talking about Tangiers Noir shisha. Currently there's two lines of Tangiers- Noir (OG) and Lucid. Lucid is more washed and doesn't require acclimation. Noir however has higher nicotine and isn't washed and typically needs to be acclimated due to humidity changes in different parts of the world.
Ahhh, thanks for clearing that up. So basically "Acclimating" means leaving the tobacco out in a dry environment for a certain amount of time? Perhaps I'm being "over-obvious" but it might be useful to people who stumble upon this thread.
12. I'm thinking of getting a tangiers phunnel bowl actually. Is that what you guys are referring to? If so, does it need to be acclimated in case the clay expands/contracts or something like that? Would much appreciate an explanation, as I'm rather noob in this area.
13. Like Skoozle, I like to have a bit of resistance when I pull. I don't really like that easy to pull, empty feeling you get when the water level is low.
14. What do you guys think of the Coralica? I'm thinking of getting a Coralica Light Mono. So that's with LED light and one pipe. Or the cascada. They are the ones in the picture I posted above. Both pretty badass imo. If i get them I'll probably take a cheap flight to Czech Republic where they are made though. Would be quite the experience I think!
15. I love almost all Meduse pipes, but my favourite is probably the Meduse Brute (Not sure if the one in the picture is a Brute Grande (85cm tall) or the regular Brute (65cm tall)). I found out about the Sepia series yesterday though. They are a hell of a lot cheaper than the rest of the pipes (apart from the portable ones I'm guessing.).
