1. lol @ brigita! Let's see, OP claims he smoked a hookah in the car with his friends, but actually, he inhaled the smoke from the quick light charcoals. Then he went to the ER, the neurologist, now to the eye dr.... I don't mean to be an insensitive pr*ck but I still call BS on this post. The OP is yanking our chains.
2. This thread is starting to smell like a troll... In any case, the OP inhaled the smoke from the QL coals directly after lighting them (if I read his posts correctly).
3. Xbox 360 Or Ps3?

I also have both the PS3 and the 360. I find myself playing 90% on the 360 since most of my friends have 360. My PS3 is used for playing PS3 specific games like Uncharted 2 and the God of War series, and watching DVDs and Blu-Ray. If a game is multi-platform, I'll buy it for the 360.
4. What Is That Smoke Odor?
For metal, I let it soak in a 3:1 ratio of vinegar/water for about 30 minutes.
Thank you for the tips! So that's 3 part vinegar to 1 part water right?
5. might as well get a couple of mod bowl grommets in case you end up buying another bowl that uses that type of grommets and a couple of Egyptian bowl grommets too.
6. Not all phunnels are created equal. From what I've read, the Tangiers Small phunnel is good. The Chinese phunnels are a hit or miss. grommets are cheap. It doesn't hurt to spend a couple bucks to have spares of the bowl grommet, base grommet, and hose grommet on hand in case yours stretched out or ripped.
7. What Is That Smoke Odor?

I'm completely stumped now. Couple days ago, I boiled my entire stem (down-stem and the heart/pear-looking part) in water, lemon, and baking soda. Then let it cool down over nite. Then let it dry for another day. Smoked it last nite and the friggin odor is still there. Here's where it gets crazy. If I purge and smell the smoke, it doesn't have the odor. When i exhale and take a whiff of the smoke, it doesn't have an odor, but as it dissipates in the air, the odor become apparent. So I'm thinking there's a few possibilities: 1. The hose is dirty. I've swapped from the stock Mya hose to a Nammor hose, cleaned it as detailed in the forums, and the smoke odor is still there. I've changed out the base grommet, hose grommet, bowl grommet, the bowl itself, hoses foil, and shisha flavor/brands. The only pieces unchanged are the base and the stem. 2. Me. I'm a smoker and mostly have smoker's breath (eww). But maybe it's my smoker's breath that's causing the odor? 3. Something is in the air in my apt? I dunno. I have a KM Carnival arriving next week. If the odor is still there, then it's something in the air, or me.... arGH! This is frustrating.
8. Worst Shisha?

Nahkla fakaer... line, Lemon. The stuff smells like Lemon Pine-sol and taste like it too. BLech!!!
9. I've got some that I've been using: 250g of SB Blue Mist (yummy) 250g Layalina Eskandarani Apple (can't taste anything unless I heat them up really hot) 100g JM Tangerine (delicious!) 100g JM Peach (ok) 250g Nakla Fahksomethingoranother Lemon (Gross!) 50g AF Guava (good) 50g AF Watermelon (good)
10. What Is That Smoke Odor?

argh! The odor is back again. Since my last post, I've changed the foil, got a Nammor hose, got a new base grommet, an Alien Mini funnel. Still have the smell. I've cleaned the bowl with lime juice and baking soda too. But since the odor is with the Mini as well, I don't think it's the bowl. The only pieces left that are common are: the base and the stem. I think I'll boil the stem tonite. Maybe something in there is getting funky creating that odor...
11. New Coconara Shape

90 minutes? The max I've gotten is about 45-60 min out of 2 coals. I've never used the old shape, but the new one works, although they tend to round out a bit if you ash them a lot. Then they like to roll around. =)

The combination of mint and lemon made it smell like Pine Sol cleaner to me. Maybe mimon is different than what I have.
there's no mint in nak lemon....just pine-sol....
LOL! no wonder I got a killer buzz from it. =)

14. Sounds like I need to try Mizo Lemon and Tangiers Lemon. But I'm a bit leary about the Mizo since it's another line of Nahkla? I'm so confused about all the different product lines of Nahkla shishas. I'm sure there's a post about it somewhere. I gotta go search for it. =)
15. I recently got some Nakhla Lemon Molasses (Fakhfakhina line) shisha. Tried it last nite and OMG! BLECH!!! It smells like Pine Sol cleaner, and it tasted just as bad. But the buzz is really good! I really don't like this stuff. I'm going to give it away if there's a local person that wants to take it... Now I'm kinda scared to try Lemon again, even though I like the citrus flavors. Any suggestions for another brand of lemon that I should try? Thanks! Tom
