1.
www.shisha-world.com - german site, it's where I buy my coals. i wouldn't recommend buying tobacco in German shops though, because of german laws the tobacco in german is very dry, as it can only have a certain amount of glycerin. http://www.shishabuzz.com/ - good uk based site Also, check the european trades section. You can find some good deals there. You can check my trade thread there, I'm selling some Starbuzz and Fantasia if you are interested just check it out
Thanks for the tips. Here's a question. I noticed that the UK sites I've found so far only sell herbal tobacco. Why?
2. Just found this one: http://www.hookahshop.co.uk/ Any others?
3. Hey, I'm currently studying abroad in a somewhat remote town in southern Switzerland and getting anything shipped here from the states is not worth the cost. Does anyone know of a reliable vendor in Europe/EU? Thanks
4. Hey everyone. In a few days I will be visiting DC and would will check out one hookah lounge in the area. I'm looking for recommendation(s). I'm 28 years old and I prefer a quieter, warmer and mixed atmosphere. The hookah, of course, has to be good too. Thanks
5. A looong time ago, someone posted a thread/link to a east european hookah maker (if I remember correctly). It had a very "conceptual" look in stainless steel color. Anyone know who/what I'm talking about?
6. Ok, it looks like I should change it... What about Sunday the 28th or Sat, Feb 3rd... you know what I'm going to make a poll.
7. Smoke Feast

i think they have a hookah tent at the Burning Man event...popular event in SF
8. QUOTE (erik @ Jan 18 2007, 10:42 AM) QUOTE (afrdzak @ Jan 17 2007, 08:43 AM) Hej Erik, what part of Sweden do you reside? I've been tinkering with the idea of moving back to Stockholm and opening a hookah lounge there. Hej! I live in Södertälje, just south of Stockholm. Opening a hookah lounge sounds like a good idea, let me know if you need someone to help you I have a few plans in the line of a hookah lounge in the area myself. Only problem is of course the smoking ban, which limits hookah smoking to a designated room where drinking/eating is not allowed - or outdoors during spring/summer. Actually, i didn't know about the smoking ban. So it applies to Hookah's as well? Interesting... Is it possible to create a dedicated hookah lounge that serves drinks and snacks? It's different than having a restaurant that serves hookah.

10. Salaam = peace. It's originally an Arabic word. You've heard Salam Alakom a lot, which means may peace be with you. Historically it was used between ancient feuding tribes in the Arab world. When a member from different tribes would pass each other they would use Salaam (peace) to prevent any hostility or fighting. Share that with your friends at Hookah gatherings and they'll think you're a genius!! :-P
11. Loose Leaf Tea

just get any decent persian black (earl grey) tea, brew it properly and put a few leaves of fresh mint leaves. Match that with hookah and you'll be in heaven. Another thing to do is to put some almond on the bottom of the pot while brewing. I heard this adds a very nice and unique after taste.
12. QUOTE (HAHkoo @ Oct 13 2006, 06:35 PM) QUOTE (King Mo)one flavour which would be amazing would be hazlenut in my opinion yeah and i think an almond flavor would be awesome. it's been done and it's good HookahHookah has it
13. Black tea, sweetened? Black tea, with mint? I would dig that flavor. Yes...? No...? Edit: oh for gawd's sake, wonderful typo in the title...Supposed to say "Anyone know if the following flavor exists?"
14. I'm going to set a tentative date for Saturday, Jan 27th. That's more than 2 weeks from now so it should be more than enough time for ppl to prepare/plan.
