I Quit Smoking Hookah

Haven't posted here since 2011 and haven't lit up a hookah in years, mostly due to moving and not having an ideal place. Miss it, and checked out the forum on a whim. Glad to see there's still some activity.
  2.
AF Vanilla mixed with strawberry= a fricken strawberry cupcake. It was delicious.
When I was in Bahrain, they made a special Ramadan shisha that was AF Vanilla in the bowl and strawberry juice in the base. Delicious. AF Vanilla is pretty good, but I've never found a shisha with a real "strong" vanilla taste. I'll have to remake that Vanilla/Strawberry one though.

    You Gotta Be Shitting Me...
I was at the hookah bar and a kid sitting at the next table decided to make conversation with me by showing off his Ed Hardy lighter. He was like, "Isn't this sweet!?" to which I replied, "No." And that was the end of that.
It's like a vetting system you girls get. "Is he in possession of Ed Hardy anything? Yes? REJECTED"
  4. Suppose if Hamas would stop lobbing rockets @ Israel these things might not happen as much. Oh well, if ever there were two groups of people destined to NEVER get along...

    Politicians Say The Darndest Things....
It's still all over the news today about the GOP spending campaign funds at Voyeur (strip club) and just a few moments ago it hit the news that they just sent out a fund raising flyer with a misprinted phone number that sent callers to a sex line. Jesus, can they get any more incompetent?????? Conservatives everywhere are going to be claiming 3rd party affiliation any moment now.............. 'Rani
A fair number have, the Anti-RINO movement has cause a bit of split off from the mainstream republican party. Of course, they'd best find someone to rally behind or all they're doing is giving BHO another term...
I agree with you about having the abortion take place early on. However, I haven't heard many cases where people were unable to find parents for a child... maybe if you want an open adoption and are very picky about the parents you want for "your" baby, that could be an issue. But I think there are a LOT of families out there who want to adopt, especially newborn babies. I don't think finding a family would be a problem. Then again, I haven't researched the issue so maybe that is a problem I've never heard of.
Healthy newborns don't have much trouble. FAS, Crack Babies, and 11 year old felons do. I was watching comedy the other night at work and the comedian addressed the issue... to paraphrase he said something like pro-life men just haven't received a phone call from that stripper in reno yet. He has a point. I've never been in that situation, so I'll refrain from judgment.

If Conservatives Have Such Great Ideas....
Well I'm not sure how to respond to you except to point out that you're own questions would be answered if you read the thread. If that doesn't work and you're from the South just read it out loud and go very slowly. So if you think that the current system is messed up what is your solution? Just saying "reform of some kind" only solves problems in Republican Magical Fantasy Land. If we had listened to Republicans in the past the country would still be segregated, interracial marriage would be illegal, old people and the disabled would be left to scrounge and starve on the streets without Medicare and Social Security, workers would still be chained to the machines in our factories, women would not be able to vote, and minorities would still be second class citizens. According to Republicans allowing women to vote would turn us into Communists (1920's) Then Social Security would turn us into Communists (1930's). Then Civil Rights, interracial marriage, and desegregation would turn us into Communists (1950's). Then Medicare would turn us into Communists (1960's). Then cleaner energy would turn us into Communists (1970's). Now health care reform will turn us into Communists. I think it's pretty clear that you don't know what you're talking about. And if you really believe that using public services constitutes Socialism, pledge to all of us that you will never accept any such service in the future. You won't use our publicly subsidized streets, water, sewage, communications, or other utilities. You won't call our police or fire departments, you won't work for the government or military, you won't eat any product produced by a company receiving subsidies, you won't collect unemployment, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, or VA benefits. You won't send your children to public schools, or accept the protection of our military. Walk your Talk. That will be the day.
Easy, killer. I think you're projecting some anger in my direction. I said that I disagree with socializing healthcare, because I believe the private sector will continue to do it better in almost all ways. You responded by calling me a evil sexist, racist, republican southerner, although I never said anything to imply I was any of the above. (I do represent Florida with pride though ) Classy. You're right about all the budget problems you mentioned. Is now the right time to be adding costs? Why the rush? Why is this being pushed through so hard now, is there a chance that public support will never get stronger behind it? Why is nancy pelosi telling us that "We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it"? I don't trust the government to work in my best interests anymore than I trust anyone else to. I think that this bill is about power more than anything else. You obviously disagree.

If Conservatives Have Such Great Ideas....
Every citizen needs to have access to health care without ripping off the hospital, or doctor, or ambulance company. In the long run it's going to end up saving us money.
Please explain how.
The first thing I have to point out is that health care is a right. It's a right under the U.N. Charter, the Geneva Conventions, Federal law, and so far as I know the law of every state in the Union. We are a civilized people in this department.
Wrong. Saying that health care is a right implies that the .gov can force someone to provide it to you. Health care is a service that is provided by the professionals who choose to make a living at it. They have the right to quit at anytime. The UN can get fucked. The current system is fucked, ladies and gents, no arguing that. But to imply that taxing the American people to implement socialized medicine is the solution is way out there. Plus the hypocrisy of claiming that now is a good time when we all know the US is bordering on bankruptcy. Health care reform of some kind is a necessity. Giving the government complete control over it is not the solution. Our neighborhood UPS driver is the shit... always gets our stuff there, friendly guy. Reliable. Of course, now I'm relying on the military postal system.. Priority Mail only... but I haven't had horrible luck there either.

    I Just Joined The Army...

Running is the big thing. Once you're in the military, and you adapt to running, you can get very unfit and lazy and still pass the fitness test. There is a mile wide fucking chasm between "PT" and "Exercise". Plus, there are many ways to get E3 off the bat. Are you an Eagle Scout, or do you have some college? If you can go in with a guaranteed E3, don't volunteer for shit, because it doesn't benefit you in any way shape or form. Let the E1's take the bullshit jobs, they may get E2 or E3 out of it. Or maybe not.

    Can'T Decide

I wonder if I may have perhaps purchased a different SB: Blue Mist than the rest of the community, as I never could get a flavor worth a damn out of it. I can almost taste what it's trying to be, and I like that, but my tin was a miss. I may try it again. I've just purchased SB: Pink, we'll see how that goes.
  15. SB Pink, AF Melon, SB Vanilla on the way. Good times.
