1. The hose port on the Regal Melech fits my KM Pro nicely, better than my KM Kamanja. I'm loving my Regal Melech. Excellent review Matto!
  2. I just picked up a tin of Acid Red last night. The red smells like cinnamon and cloves. I haven't smoked starbuzz in a while and I was pleasantly surprised by how long the flavor lasted on this one. The owner of the shop that I made the purchase from said that he likes it because it has a cigar-like taste. I couldn't find this cigar-like taste that he spoke of, but it was still good none the less.
  3. I've thought about trying out the wet paper towel method for many years now... I guess I just need to do it and see for myself.
  4. Beautiful hookah! That is the KM that I was looking at buying when I go back to HC's in July. I was out there in January and yes, George's warehouse is pretty awesome. I spent 2 hours at HC's and it honestly felt like 15 minutes.
  5.
I have already gone to the Coughing Canary as a friend told me it was there, I live 2 miles away from it. I asked and looked around the entire store, even made the guy look in the back. I think they don't sell it anymore...
Hmm.. Bummer. Well if you really, really want to be able to find it locally, use a search engine like yelp.com or google smoke shops and call them all to see what their selection is. It's a lot of work but you will know who carries what and I guarantee you will discover new places to buy from locally.
  6.
Hello all, My name is Justin and I am new to this great forum. I have been smoking every variation of hookah for at least 4 years. My favorite hookah bar recently closed down (Red Sea Cafe) in Phoenix, AZ and they used to sell fumari. I have scoured the internet for locations around me and local smoke shops in search of this great product. Does anyone know where I could buy Fumari in or around the Phoenix area? Thank you very much for your help.
Welcome to the forum Justin. Coughing Canary carries Fumari and there isn't one too far away from where Red Sea was.

  8. Hookah Spots In Cali?

Hookah Company's warehouse in Encinitas is very much worth checking out as well. Ask for George.
  9.
I got one of thier new boxes, haven't opened it. Darn on the size. But oh well I can still give it a whirl with my Craftsman Handi-Cut!
The handi cut will work but you should try scoring it first. I've chopped a few of them without scoring and they require much more effort.
  10. Af Soft Black

AF Soft Black gets medium sized, but not massive thunder clouds. If you aren't getting any clouds at all, you could try a couple of drops of glyercine. I haven't had to do that yet though. I smoke it with a small or mini phunnel and 3 coconara halves with a windcover off and on.
  11. I like to use small or mini phunnel bowls for Tangiers and I pack it pretty tight. Then I use 3 or 4 coconara halves and then keep the bowl going with golden canary coals.
  12. Go to Hookah Company in Encinitas or to Odyssey Hookah Lounge in San Diego.
  13. I stopped by Baiz today for lunch and saw that they have the kilo cans of DA for $29.99. Not too shabby.
  14. Im Baaaaack!

Which kind of Tamseh is it?
wasn't sure so looked it up its a 24" brass wheat Temsaah. and yea moodz your right lol also your ass need to come down to the east valley and light up with me and the guys I smoke with.
I have that stem and I love it. I bought a temsah setup from hookahcompany's warehouse when I was in CA last month. Quality brass hookah. How far east are you Tuscani? I'm in Glendale.
  15. Im Baaaaack!
so I broke the Purge valve off my KM hafa... its repairable so thats good, but in the mean time I needed a hookah to use, so I snagged a temsaah stem from a buddy for 40 bucks and some Mizo mint, this stem he only ever smoked mint out of so I figure thats the way to go. I got this hookah going and OMG best mint hookah I have ever smoked! the airflow through the temsaah stem isn't as smooth as my hafa, but its def a good hookah.
Hey there Tuscani. Temsah and Mizo Mint? Sounds like the hookah belonged to Ryan!!!!
